CFRO Radio 102.7 FM is a Vancouver co-op radio with several early morning music shows each month, focusing mainly on Pagan/Goddess/Native/World music. CHKG 96.1 FM has a show called Aboriginal/Tropical Rhythms. The program features history, music, culture, travel, from the Aboriginal Peoples of the Tropical Paradise Islands of Hawaii, The South Pacific, including, Polynesia, (Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand Maori), Aborigines in Australia, Micronesia, Melanesia, including Papua New Guinea and Turtle Island’s Indigenous peoples, Metis, First Nations and Inuit. CHLY is a community radio station mandated to present a huge variety of music to its listening public. The station has several programs that explore a diversity of global music including The Lovecast, Third Stone from the Sun, Pandemic Pulse, and Rebel Music. CHLY FM also features a number of specialty music programs including shows which focus on Turkish, Punjabi, Reggae stylings and a host of other forms of music.

CIUT 89.5 FM Radio Toronto has world music programming and a world music chart that gets reported. CBC Radio-One has Routes-Montreal, a monthly show in English and with live World Music bands. It is aired the first Saturday of every month at 5PM EST. The host in Dan Behrman. Dan also has 3 shows on Espace musique, Radio-Canada's new channel.  The 2 hour shows per week are in in French: Friday (Blues), Saturday (World & World-Jazz) & Sunday (Jazz & Contemporary Acoustic Music) from 8PM to midnight EST. National Broadcasts

Global Village. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) produces the Global Village radio show which is broadcast across Canada on CBC Radio One. Global Village is a weekly one-hour program that combines reports from both professional and amateur journalists in the field with short features and disc spins. Listeners are encouraged to become journalists via the Correspondent's Handbook.

Global Village is also delivered to a significant portion of the planet by satellite and shortwave on Radio Canada International and around the world by live streaming RealAudio from the main CBC site (Toronto stream at 7:05 EDT). It offers ";The News of the World in the World of Music."
